FAQ

Does the Cliffhanger require assembly upon delivery?

Some assembly is typically required for large commercial arcade machines of this size and weight. Due to its dimensions and 330 lb weight, Cliffhanger ships via freight. We recommend having help available at delivery and confirming your venue has adequate ceiling clearance for the full height of 110.63 inches with the top lid attached.

How is the Cliffhanger shipped?

Due to its size and weight (150 kg / 330.69 lb), the Kalkomat Cliffhanger ships via freight carrier on a pallet. Shipping is free. For delivery timeline questions or to coordinate your delivery, reach out to us directly.

What ceiling height is needed to install the Cliffhanger?

With the top lid attached, the machine stands 281 cm (approximately 110.63 inches, or just over 9 feet tall). You'll want to ensure your venue has sufficient ceiling clearance above that height, especially if overhead lighting or ductwork is present. The machine can also be used without the top lid at a height of 231 cm (90.94 in) if needed.

Can the machine be operated without a bill acceptor?

Yes - the Cliffhanger is available without a bill acceptor for venues that prefer free-play, token-based, or staff-managed operation. If you'd like cash-operated play, you can select the bill acceptor upgrade at the time of purchase.

Is the Cliffhanger suitable for all ages and fitness levels?

The Cliffhanger is designed as a competitive entertainment machine for a general venue audience. The hang bar is positioned at 220 cm (86.61 in) from the floor, which means players need to be able to reach it. It's popular with a wide range of players, from casual participants to fitness enthusiasts looking for a fun challenge.
