FAQ

How does the game work?

The Kalkomat Ghost is a whack-a-ghost style arcade game where ghosts light up across the play surface and players use the included mallets to hit them before they disappear. The game tracks your score in real time, shows remaining time, and records the high score - so every round is a new opportunity to beat the best.

Is this suitable for young children?

Yes - the Ghost is designed with younger players in mind and is great for all ages. The two-mallet gameplay is simple and intuitive, making it easy for kids to jump right in without any instruction.

Do I need the bill acceptor option for home use?

Not at all. The bill acceptor is an optional add-on best suited for commercial pay-to-play environments like arcades and family entertainment centers. For home game rooms, the standard configuration works perfectly with no coin-op setup needed.

How is this machine shipped?

Given the size and weight of this cabinet (247 lb, 53 inches deep), it ships via freight on a pallet. If you have questions about estimated delivery time or shipping logistics, feel free to reach out before ordering.

Is assembly required?

The machine arrives largely pre-assembled as a full cabinet. Minimal setup is typically required - such as attaching the mallets and plugging in the unit - but no major assembly is needed to get playing.

Can this machine be used outdoors?

The waterproof cabinet makes the Ghost more resilient than most arcade machines, but it is designed for indoor use in arcades, FECs, and game rooms. We recommend keeping it in a sheltered environment for the best long-term performance.
